The simplest classroom management games are simple activities requiring little setup. Examples include the “quiet time challenges,” where the students race to stay calm, or the point systems, where the groups could earn stars when they behave well. The other simple game is to play Simon says, as this combines both entertainment and the art of listening. These sorts of games can be quickly launched and used during any lesson; they do not consume a lot of time. They work well since students are able to learn the rules quickly, and instructors can employ them at any point to clarify that the class is on track and attentive.
