I've got a 2018 Wrangler and I've always just followed the dashboard oil life monitor, which usually gives me around 8,000 to 9,000 km between changes. But a coworker told me that in the UAE summer, I should be doing it every 5,000 km no matter what the computer says, because the extreme heat breaks down oil faster. Now I'm second guessing myself. I usually just go to a quick lube place near my office in Musaffah, but I'm thinking maybe I should find somewhere that actually uses the correct 5W-20 full synthetic and a Mopar filter. I saw a page mentioning Musaffah Jeep Oil Change Service and I'm wondering if anyone here has a shop they trust for routine changes – somewhere that doesn't upsell you on unnecessary flushes but actually uses quality oil. Also, what interval do you guys actually run on your Pentastar engines? I drive about 3,500 km a month so this adds up quick. Would love to hear what's working for others here. Thanks.
