The plants of Stonecrop Sedum need not be overwatered, and it is better placed where there is ample drainage in order to be able to grow. Plants are properly placed in order to facilitate a ventilated space and prevent the chances of illness. Tall varieties should be pruned early in summer so that they do not flop and grow bushier. Sedums are easy to establish by cutting or through division, hence they are cheap for the gardener. Light gravel mulching will keep the plant warm and avoid moisture accumulation at the root of plants in the long run.
